What is microneedling and how does it benefit the skin?

Microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro-channels in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. It helps reduce fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and improves overall texture and tone.

Is dermaplaning safe and does it cause hair to grow back thicker?

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation technique that removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz using a sterile blade. It does not cause hair to grow back thicker or darker. Instead, it leaves your skin smooth, radiant, and better able to absorb products.

Can I combine treatments in one session?

In many cases, yes. For example, dermaplaning pairs beautifully with certain peels or calming facials. We’ll discuss the best combinations during your consultation based on your skin goals.

How should I prepare for my skin appointment?

Avoid exfoliating acids 3-5 days before treatment. Retinoids for at least 3–5 days prior to chemical peels, derma planing and micro needling. Avoid filler for 3 weeks and botox for 2-3 weeks prior to any skin treatment.

Do I need to do all of the suggested treatments in a journey?

No, upon your consultation we’ll work out the best treatments to achieve your desired results. In some cases, majority if not all treatments in a specific journey may be recommended.

Which conditions may affect my massage or facial?

Here’s a list of common contraindications that may prevent you from having face or body treatments:
